About the role
The role belongs to our HR & Payroll team that is responsible for providing word class payroll services to our clients operating in UAE.
In this role you will be responsible for the timely and correct handling of matters concerning the day-to-day payroll, including correspondence with the assigned clients. Your main goal will be to ensure that TMF’s clients are provided with efficient, professional, and high-quality services which meet all statutory obligations across payroll.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparing employee salary statements and processing pay checks;
- Ensuring that all payroll procedures are in line with governmental laws and policies;
- Calculating net salaries, deductions, and withholdings;
- Maintaining and updating payroll files as well as general ledger; creating different type of reports when needed;
- Resolving payroll related issues (e.g. late payments);
About you
The successful candidate possesses solid knowledge of payroll principles coupled with strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Integrity, team spirit and strong organizational skills are highly valued attributes.
Ideally you are meeting following hiring criteria:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting;
- Fundamental Payroll Certification (FPC) or Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) will be advantageous.
- At least 1 year of previous working experience as a Payroll Accountant is preferred; however, we are also welcoming young professionals with a bachelor’s degree in accounting and good analytical acumen to apply on the job.
- Proficiency in using MS Excel;
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy;
- Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet payroll deadlines;
- Excellent communications skills to interact with clients and explain payroll related matters effectively;
- Ability to work collaboratively with other team members and stakeholders
