Finance Manager / Head of Finance (Consumer Goods)

Description

Financial Planning and Analysis:Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company's overall business objectives.Prepare and analyze financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.Conduct in-depth financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.Develop and manage budgets and forecasts.Provide financial insights and recommendations to support strategic decision-making.

Accounting and Reporting:Oversee the accounting function, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes.Ensure compliance with financial regulations and accounting standards.Implement and maintain effective internal controls.Financial Management:Manage cash flow and working capital effectively.Oversee treasury functions, including banking relationships and cash management.Manage financial risks and implement mitigation strategies.Team Leadership and Development:Build and lead a high-performing finance team.Provide mentorship and coaching to team members.Foster a collaborative and results-oriented work environment.Business Partnership:Collaborate closely with other departments to achieve business objectives.Provide financial support to sales, operations, and other functions.Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost reduction.

Profile

Minimum 6 years of working experience, preferably in a fast-growing distribution company.Minimum a Bachelor of Finance & Accounting, ACCA / CPA / any other related chartered qualification. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Proven ability to lead and motivate a team.Good understanding of the distribution industry and its key financial drivers.A dynamic, hands-on, and entrepreneurial mindset.A strong desire to grow with the company and contribute to its success.
