Finance Manager (MNC)

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Finance Manager to establish and lead the finance function in Malaysia. As a self-starter, you will be instrumental in building a high-performance team from the ground up. This role requires a hands-on individual with a strong track record in managing complex financial operations within a multinational corporation.

Description

Financial Operations: Establish and oversee day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.Process Implementation: Implement and maintain robust financial systems, policies, and procedures in compliance with local and international accounting standards (e.g., MFRS).Financial Reporting: Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports, providing actionable insights to management for decision-making.Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all relevant tax laws and regulations.Business Partnership: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to drive business growth and profitability.Regional Leadership: Demonstrate potential to lead and implement financial initiatives across the APAC region.

Profile

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ACCA, CPA) is prefered. Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in finance and accounting, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within a multinational corporation.Proven ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with experience interacting with diverse stakeholders.Demonstrated ability to work independently and proactively, with a strong sense of ownership.Experience in dealing with and reporting to European-based managers and business stakeholders.Proficiency in financial software and systems.
