Job Purpose

We are looking for a Planning & Forecasting Management Trainee with strong analytical skills and finance acumen to deliver exceptional planning and forecasting support to in-market Finance and area teams.
Success in the role requires the ability to think critically, and positively challenge key stakeholders. You will be instrumental in supporting the process of generating robust forecasts, extracting insightful management information, and proactively identifying potential opportunities and risks.
Education, Experience & Skills
- University degree in Finance, Accountancy or Business (or professional certifications such as ACCA, CIMA, etc.)
- Fresh graduate or up to 1-2 years of relevant experience
- Strong analytical skills
- Proficient financial knowledge of analysis, evaluation, financial modelling and forecasting with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development, alignment, and communication of forecasts.
- Support in building the financial modelling/appraisal & business cases, for example trend analysis and forecast models
- Understand variances between actuals and plans/prior periods.
- Provide insightful intelligence on business performance drivers and identify risks.
- Support in preparation of management reports that results in key decision making
- Co-ordinate with Planning & Forecasting analysts to consolidate financial forecasts for the region / area
