About the role

We are seeking an experienced, highly motivated pension professional with strong analytical and organisational skills.

Work within a team of c220 individuals with varied backgrounds. Work closely with senior advisors delivering innovative strategic solutions to solve complex problems for wide-ranging clients, Corporate and Trustee side, with many large multinational organisations.

There is the opportunity to focus on consulting, applying technical skills to provide high value solutions for clients. We would also provide the opportunity to gain expertise in risk transfer work, scheme funding and investment, and data projects as well as audit of pensions.

What your days will look like:
  • Work on a portfolio of clients, helping to drive projects forwards and establish effective working relationships with individuals internally and liaising with other advisers externally
  • Build your own network of contacts through regular attendance at internal and external meetings, for example with insurers, providers and Professional Independent Trustees while ensuring you stay up-to-date with changes in law, topical issues in the industry and in the firm's products and services
  • Produce high quality, technically accurate client deliverables
This role is for you if:
  • Have relevant UK pensions experience, gained in an actuarial advisory team and have a drive and passion for providing a high level of service
  • You contribute to coaching for more junior members of our own team as well as personal development
  • Excellent team and organisational skills with the ability to work to tight deadlines effectively
  • You are client facing and have strong technical as well as written and verbal communication skills.
