Role:

The Specialist, Audit Services reports to the Head of Asset Servicing and International Audit International, Managing Director. The role will be responsible for executing strategic initiatives, high priority projects, operational oversight as well as managing audit projects as part of the Asset Servicing audit plan. This role will focus on leveraging the Asset Servicing Audit Management Team as well as the Audit Services CAO team to advance business priorities and operational excellence.

The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between business intelligence, project management and day-to-day execution. Understanding the intricacies of various functional areas will be critical in order to facilitate collaboration and enable efficient and informed decision-making. The role will support and serve as an advisor to the Head of Asset Servicing and International Audit – liaising with key stakeholders and conducting research and analysis.

Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the Head of Asset Servicing and International Audit, providing advice and helping to develop and manage priorities, initiatives and related duties.
  • Assist the Head of Asset Servicing and International Audit in demonstrating and documenting his responsibilities as SMF5 under the UK Senior Manager Regime.
  • Manage the operational aspects of the Asset Servicing and International Audit team including: scheduling, communications, chairing of internal meetings and oversight of operational management information.
  • Provide various forms of research and analysis to support both the Head of Asset Servicing and International Audit as well as the global Audit Leadership Team where required.
  • Produce data to track and monitor audit results and in flight initiatives.
  • Lead and/or assist with high priority projects and initiatives.
  • Assist the Audit Services CAO in duties around finance planning, procurement, HR interaction, global initiatives and operational aspects related to the delivery of the audit plan.
  • Ownership of a portion of the Asset Servicing Audit Universe with responsibilities around its maintenance and contribution to the annual audit planning process.
  • Coaching and mentoring of junior staff when managing audit delivery.

Skills / Qualifications:

  • Audit management experience highly desirable.
  • Understanding of the Asset Servicing products preferred.
  • Critical thinker with problem solving abilities who is able to organize and manage people and resources to effectively prioritize issues
  • Ability to complete multiple and diverse assignments with the highest level of quality
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively manage and navigate multiple stakeholders and competing objectives
  • Undergraduate degree
  • Strong communication written/oral skills
  • Ability to engage and build long-term relationships, and create a collaborative and approachable environment
  • Ability to think strategically, execute with precision and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
