Description

• Prepare and analyse monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial data to management and stakeholders
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
• Monitor budget variances and provide explanations for significant deviations
• Oversee the accounts payable and receivable functions
• Conduct financial analysis to support business decisions
• Assist in the preparation, reconciliation and filing of indirect tax returns

Profile

• Minimum of 2-4 years of relevant experience as an Assistant Accountant ideally within the manufacturing, industrial, construction or engineering sector
• Working towards CA or CPA qualifications
• Comprehensive understanding of accounting principles, standards and processes
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
