About the team

Our National Forensic Services team help mitigate and resolve high-risk matters through investigations, forensic technology, analytics and forensic accounting, and help clients create and embed governance frameworks to retain value.

We provide an integrated suite of services including: forensic accounting and analysis, investigation services, litigation and dispute resolution, fraud and corruption risk management, anti-money laundering reviews, forensic technology services and whistleblowing services.

About the role

As a Senior Consultant within the team, you will be actively involved in the delivery of engagements involving forensic accounting and investigations, across a wide variety of clients and business sectors.

  • Assisting clients by managing and leading multiple engagements simultaneously which includes identification and analysis of evidence, preparation and conducting interviews with relevant parties and coordination of associated services including forensic technology, accounting, and data analysis
  • Preparing high quality reports which are clear, concise and easily understood by clients
  • Preparing proposals / scoping documents in response to client requests
  • High level research, problem solving and analytical skills to collect, collate and report forensic and technical evidence for presentation to stakeholders, industrial tribunals and the Courts.
  • Preparation and delivery of fraud and corruption awareness and training
  • Building strong relationships with clients through exceptional and timely client service and ongoing communication throughout the investigation.

About you

The successful candidate will have relevant accounting tertiary qualifications and experience in delivering high quality work, ideally gained within professional services or a consulting environment.

Combined with:

  • CA or CPA qualified or working towards professional membership.
  • Experience in the analysis of data and financial / non-financial information and ability to apply a forensic approach to the work.
  • Demonstrated experience in delivering quality reports that withstand legal and public scrutiny.
  • Prior experience and understanding of fraud, corruption and workplace misconduct matters in both public and private sectors, including relevant legislation and industry standards is desirable.
  • Experience in forensic accounting and litigation support is preferred, however strong experience in corporate finance, audit, insolvency or business services is also relevant.
  • A high degree of personal and professional integrity and a commitment to maintaining confidentiality when managing sensitive matters
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to handle and analyse complex information.
  • Be able to provide quality assurance via review and testing the work of your peers and provide constructive feedback and solutions
