Management Accountant

This role is for a Management Accountant, a crucial part of the Accounting & Finance team in the Industrial/Manufacturing industry.

Client Details

Our well-established client based in Mid Kent is seeking a Management Accountant to join them on a full time and permanent basis. This is a site based position.

Description

Management Accountant duties include;

• Produce accurate monthly management accounts for business units.
• Prepare forecasts/ budgets in liaison with operational managers, supporting and advising as required.
• Overseeing payroll checks for sign off.
• Ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
• Analysing financial data and providing insights to the management.
• Enhancing financial systems and processes.
• Collaborating with other departments on financial matters.
• Participating in financial audits.
• Coordinate with other team members to ensure all financial deadlines are met.

Profile

A successful Management Accountant should have/ be:

• A formal qualification (ACCA / CIMA / ACA or working towards).
• Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite (SAP/ SAGE / Workday) is advantageous.
• Excellent analytic skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
