Discover the role

The Senior Accountant works to cover the overall Clients’ portfolio of Accounting and Tax clients in accordance with local accounting and tax legislation and in compliance with all TMF procedures and standards.

Key Responsibility:

• End to End ownership of assigned clients
• Prepares complex financial reports (with IFRS/US gaap)
• Provides Financial statement integrity, budgeting, and forecasting
• Supports more Junior Accounting colleagues in technical questions
• Maintain contact with auditors, tax advisors, lawyers, and other involved parties in order to obtain the required information for reporting purposes;
• Ensure ongoing processes and deliverables a high-quality accounting service to assigned portfolio of clients

Job-specific requirements:

• Good knowledge of English (B2)
• Expertise in all MS Office packages (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of Profis System is considered a plus
• High School Diploma and/or Degree Economics
• Between 5 and 10 years experience in Accounting Firms or BIG4
• Operational knowledge of VAT and other corporate taxation matters
• Working knowledge of regulatory requirements for companies in Italy (Statutory deadlines, filing requirements, etc.)
