Sr. Analyst, Fixed Income Middle Office, HFS
Summary:
Provide industry experience and know-how to team of Fixed Income Middle Office within Hedge Fund Services. Responsible for the day-to-day client fund administration on Fixed Income products, while providing support to rest of Fixed Income team.
Major Duties:
Lifecycle event post-trade processing on ABS, MBS, CDO, CLO, Govt. and Muni Bonds, etc. Coordinates cash and position break resolution process between HFS and Client’s Prime Broker or Custodian bank. Works closely with Manager to ensure Process Controls are followed to mitigate risk and ensure timely and accurate completion of work. Performs assigned tasks to meet client’s daily and month-end deliverables and ensures timely and accurate completion of the work. Follow-up on open issues both, internally and externally. Responsible for project work related to increasing efficiency and improving control environment. Operates independently; has in-depth knowledge of business unit / function / and / or similar experience. As subject area expert, provides comprehensive, in-depth consulting to team and partners at a high technical level.
Knowledge/Skills:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills are required
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in an extremely time sensitive conditions
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and familiarity with financial markets and instruments
- Highly flexible and adaptable to change
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Bloomberg preferred
Experience Preferred:
- 1-3 years of relevant proven work experience along with a Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting or related field is preferred.
- Related Industry qualification is preferred (i.e. MBA, CFA, CAIA)
