The Opportunity:

Our Financial Services Tax Group focuses on corporate tax consulting and compliance services for clients in the financial services industry, which encompasses banking & capital markets, insurance and asset management. Our highly trained specialty team is equipped to provide solutions tailored to the needs of our clients.

As part of our Financial Services Tax Group, we’ll look to you to deliver value to our clients by developing innovative and integrated solutions to meet their growing needs. Providing a full range of services to clients including strategy and planning solutions and ideas and compliance services. In our friendly, collaborative environment, you’ll receive the support, formal training and coaching you need to progress quickly along the career path you choose.

Businesses today are subject to ever-growing and increasingly complex tax and regulatory change. Helping businesses navigate these challenges requires advisors with a deep understanding of relevant legislation, outstanding communication skills and the ability to manage client relationships effectively.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform corporate tax compliance and tax advisory services for clients in the financial services industry, which covers banking and capital markets, insurance, and asset management.
  • Understand and keep abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations and how they impact clients in real world transactions, scenarios, and various fact patterns
  • Work collaboratively in teams to provide holistic tax advice to clients based on the tax regulations requirement and/or business requirements of the client.
  • Be involved in key projects in data management, implementation of tax software systems and building tax requirements for various systems to help our clients improve their performance of tax functions.

Skills and Attributes for Success:

  • Pursuing university degree related to Accountancy, Finance, Economics or equivalent
  • Experience and/or demonstrated ability in time management and adaptability to change under pressure to build effective relationships at all levels. This passion could be demonstrated via university projects, internships, conferences, self-study, etc.
