About the role 

As a Junior Accountant you will be supporting our Capital Market Services (CMS) team in Sofia that is compromised of more than 30 professionals. This role will be working closely with the Accounting and Tax team in the daily deliverables of excellent services to clients. You will be reporting to the Accounting and Tax Supervisor/Assistant Manager.

Key Responsibilities: 

• You would be responsible for the accounting and administration of a portfolio of different SPVs (Special Purpose Vehicles);
• Collect, process and verify information from financial institutions;
• Prepare investment portfolio and cash reconciliations on monthly and yearly basis;
• Prepare reports for European Central Bank, on monthly and quarterly basis.
• To maintain good client relationship and attend to clients’ queries and requests in a timely and professional manner.
• Continuous and frequent liaison with clients for documentations, information or clarifications for management accounts preparation and audit purposes.
• Maintain timely and proper filing of documents and information with respect to each individual client’s to ensure audit trail of work done for efficient references.
• Periodic update of process documentation.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ideally, you are meeting following hiring criteria: 

• University degree or 4th year student in Accounting/Finance or similar field;
• Affinity to accounting and reporting;
• Good command in written and spoken English is a must;
• Able to meet deadlines and multi-task;
• Confident team player, yet able to work independently in a fast-paced environment;
• Good interpersonal skills with a positive disposition;
• Knowledgeable in using Microsoft Office.
