Senior Finance Analyst - P&T Strategy

We’re currently seeking a Senior Finance Analyst to join our Expedia Product & Tech Strategy Finance team. This key role collaborates across all levels of the organization through partnering closely with the Product & Tech Strategy Team, Analytics & Expedia Group Finance Teams to drive commercial discussions forward. You will operate as part of a global team and contribute to delivering the Product & Tech Finance vision of driving long-term strategic and scalable growth for EG, through tracking and reporting of Strategic initiatives, managing the monthly FC process including communications, coordination, timelines and file management, plus managing updates and changes to existing Strategic initiatives. This role works closely with the Finance Manager to deliver x-divisional Forecast submissions and Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews.
What you'll do
- Serve as one of the key Finance business partners to provide accurate end to end financial management of Product & Tech strategic initiatives. This includes assisting with managing monthly valuation tracking of ~180+ initiatives, reporting to leadership, and identifying and reporting on risk & opportunities to financial plan.
- Assist in managing the current monthly Forecast process communication, coordination, timelines and file management.
- Managing updates and changes to existing Strategic initiatives.
- Work alongside the Finance Manger to deliver x-divisional forecast submissions and Monthly & Quarterly Business Reviews to Leadership.
- Help deliver on the yearly Strategic Plan process working across multiple EG divisions.
- Identify and drive automation projects to improve process efficiencies.
- Assist in building out content and commentary of PowerPoint deck presentations for leadership to best deliver the story of strategic performance.
- Support senior leadership and cross-functional business partners with timely, accurate, actionable financial analysis.
Who you are
- Bachelor’s Degree or any other related fields; or equivalent related professional experience.
- 5+ years of work experience required in a similar commercial, analytical and business partnering role within Finance, Customer Analytics or Business Operations.
- Strategic thinker, excellent business acumen, comfortable working with ambiguity in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and a passion for inspiring change and continuous improvement.
- Ability to run projects and processes independently
- Excellent relationship management skills, including ability to develop strong working relationships with stakeholders and business process owners to define and drive strategic and operational initiatives including change management associated with initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to interpret and present data in a visually compelling format to financial and non-finance partners, under tight deadlines.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to data integrity
- Strong financial modelling, and analytical skills with excellent understanding of business P&L
- Results driven and highly motivated, with the ability to think big and small
- Highly proficient with Excel and PowerPoint. Experience with Hyperion a plus.
Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
