The team
The treasury department manages the financial risk, liquidity, funding and banking arrangements across ITV's international group of companies. As a team we enjoy the diversity of our roles and the fast moving environment in which we work.
The teams' responsibilities include bank account opening, processing of payments, trade settlements/confirmations, daily bank reconciliations process for UK BSC accounts, the compilation of the monthly Group Bank Reconciliation report plus other month end tasks across the team.
The role
The purpose of this role is to support treasury processes across the team ensuring key deadlines are met efficiently and diligently with quality output.
Your responsibilities will include both regular and ad-hoc ones, for example:

The role
The purpose of this role is to support treasury processes across the team ensuring key deadlines are met efficiently and diligently with quality output.
Your responsibilities will include both regular and ad-hoc ones, for example:
- Raising Journal entries for non PTP/OTC bank movements and cancelled cheques in GL
- Perform daily matching of bank items to the subledger items in Oracle Fusion Cash Management for 60 bank reconciliations
- Process Treasury Exceptional Payments Support the Treasury Analyst with all confirmation and settlement of Treasury trades using our Treasury Management System (City Financials)
- Assist with the queries in Treasury inboxes
- Attend calls with Barclays Relationship Manager to resolve outstanding issues / requests in a timely manner.
- Ensure all month end activities have been completed on time and accurately, reporting any material issues to Manager(s) for resolution ahead of Month End close
- Prepare the monthly P&L and Balance Sheet FX rates on Treasury Google Site and Distribute to Overseas entities
- Prepare the stats for the Treasury Operational Data Pack
- Provide information as required to Internal and External Audit teams including bank statements queries to internal & external auditors
- Support with preparing banking documentation and the signing thereof in line with bank mandates
- Support middle office on intercompany loans and in house bank management including variance analysis and reconciliations for statutory audits
- Take part in testing to ensure the robustness of the departmental disaster recovery plan
- Constantly challenge and make recommendations to implement improved processes
- Set up Direct Debits, Standing Orders, and cancelling cheques.
- Demonstrable numerical, verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Pro-active work ethic with a focus on continuous improvement and self-development
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, and manage your time effectively
- Experience of working in a Treasury Back Office role is desirable
- Experience of performing high volume reconciliations is desirable.
