A Management Accountant is required to join a busy accountancy team to support the financial planning and decision-making process for a range of business and land ventures on Anglesey. The role involves preparing financial reports, performing account reconciliations, maintaining the general ledger, and performing other accounting duties as assigned.

Description
Key responsibilities of the Management Accountant include:
- Prepare financial statements and performance reports.
- Assist in budgeting and financial forecasting processes.
- Perform balance sheet and profit & loss account reconciliations.
- Maintain the general ledger system.
- VAT and partial VAT Returns
- Analyse financial data and provide insights to management.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes.
- Participate in special projects as required.
- Business partnering with wider team
Profile
A successful Management Accountant should have:
- Proven experience in a similar role, ideally working across several business entities
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and with teams across different sites
- Excellent numerical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills.
