Currently, we are looking for experienced candidates for the position of Reporting Specialist in the Close & Control team, supporting Austrian commercial organization. If you are interested in the role – apply and join our GSK Finance Hub Europe team!
Key responsibilities:
- In your new role, you will work closely with country Finance Controller (your line manager, based in Poznan) and the country Finance Director (based in Vienna), to ensure activities are properly carried out in the accounting & reporting area.
- You will be providing a set of financial activities during the monthly cycle, to ensure accurate and timely postings and reporting of financial transactions
- Your core goal will be to deliver a timely period-end close and ensure full compliance with IFRS and SOX requirements
- Your activities will include analysis of accounts, preparation & review of journals, preparing a set of internal controls activities, etc.
- You will be reviewing the account reconciliations prepared by Operations Centre on a monthly basis, driving accounts quality and resolution of open items and flagging risks to be addressed
- You will assist in resolving queries or issues as well as support the annual audit process
- You will be reviewing financial data pack as an input for group consolidation and resolving related queries
Requirements:
- Accounting/Finance degree, accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent; also in progress)
- 2 years of relevant post-qualification or post dear experience
- Experience in Financial Reporting or Audit Firm
- Fluency in English
- Experience of working in with internal control framework will be a plus. Previous SOX experience not required
- Excel skills a must, preferably advanced, VBA nor Power BI not required
- Previous experience of SAP preferred
