Accounting Technician - Dublin South

Accounting Technician Location: Dublin South Salary: €30k to €40k DOE Our client is seeking to hire an enthusiastic Accounts Administrator/Sales Support candidate. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years post qualification experience in a bookkeeping/accounts role, ideally using Sage 50 or an Oracle based accounting system. They should be extremely well organised and able to work within a fast paced environment. They must also have excellent attention to detail, be customer focused and flexible enough to be able to adapt quickly, to the needs of a busy office/showroom. The candidate needs to be able to work as part of a team as well as on their own initiative. Functions to include, (but not limited to): Accounts Processing all Incoming & Outgoing Payments Bank Reconciliation Processing all Incoming & Outgoing Invoices Purchase & Sales Ledger Payroll (Thesaurus) PAYE/PRSI/USC RCT Accounts to Trial Balance Report Generation (Daily/Weekly/Monthly) Sales Support Sales Order Generation, Processing & Monitoring Stock Control Purchase Ordering Delivery Co-Ordination Dispatch Note & POD processing Customer Invoicing Credit Control There will be other various administrative tasks assigned to allow for the smooth operation of a well established, busy and growing business. Essential Skills Numerate Only candidates with Fluent English. Genuine Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook). Minimum 2 years recent experience with Sage50 or an Oracle based system. IATI or equivalent Qualification is essential. Good telephone manner Essential Attributes Good Pro-active Attitude Hard Working Proven record of working on own Initiative Good memory - needs to have excellent information retention Very Strong Multi-tasking & Organisational Capabilities
