Reed Accountancy & Finance are working closely with a commercial client based in Co Antrim, and have a permanent opportunity for an Accounts Assistant. This is a full time permanent opportunity . Reporting to the Financial Controller, the role will manage the transactional accounting to Trial Balance, using Sage Line 50. More specific duties will involve: Weekly reconciliation of 20 bank accounts Posting and nominal coding of purchase invoices Purchase and Sales ledger Supplier statement reconciliation Weekly payment schedules Posting payments Credit Control HMRC Declarations General administration Sage reports Essential criteria: Previous experience working in an accounts role, ideally in a stand-alone role Good working knowledge of Sage Line 50 Excellent organisational, communication and interpersonal skills, able to relate to staff at all levels Possess the ability to use your initiative to ensure new skills and tasks are picked up easily Please contact Lizzy Lyons on 02890 330604 at your earliest convenience, and email an up to date cv Reed Specialist Recruitment is an Employment Agency and an Employment Business for permanent and temporary recruitment.
