Your new company
Hays have partnered with a Queensland government entity to appoint a Business Analyst to an initial 3-month contract on a rostering and time-recording project. With a potential extension on the cards, this is a great opportunity for a BA who is in-between roles, or just after something short-term.
Your new role
As the Business Analyst, you'll be responsible for defining the future state processes for the organisations' rostering and time-recording for operational teams. Working closely with the project teams, you'll identify pain points and opportunities within the current processes to enable the future state processes to be implemented. Key duties will include:
You will be an experienced Business Analyst, ideally with experience in designing and improving rostering and time-recording processes in an operational environment. You'll have an understanding, or ability to quickly learn about, digital tools to improve process efficiency or effectiveness, and bring with you process mapping and process improvement experience (including BPMN). You will also be a proven collaborator, with strong skills in influencing, stakeholder engagement, and written/verbal/visual communication.
What you'll get in return
You'll be offered an initial 3-month contract, with a chance of extension, on a key piece of work within a government-owned organisation. You'll be offered a 50/50 hybrid WFH split across a fortnight, a centrally located office, and an hourly rate up to $94.47/hour incl. super.
