Job Title: Assistant Accountant

The Role
The Company is looking to recruit an Assistant Accountant to support the Finance team to prepare the property management accounts and support the successful delivery of the Company’s Management Accounting.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assist in the preparation of quarterly property accounts
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of transactions
- Support the finance team in budgeting and forecasting activities
- Maintain and reconcile credit card statements
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the finance department
This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a small team who deliver quality financial information in a major philanthropic organisation
The Candidate
Qualifications:
- Part-qualified or newly qualified ACCA/CIMA.
Experience:
- Background in an accountancy role within either a commercial or charitable setting.
Skills:
- Proficient in management and financial reporting
- Ability to analyse data, write and present reports
- Excellent IT and communication skills
- Experienced reconciliation of payroll
- Strong interpersonal skills, focus, and adaptability
- Willingness to learn and improve processes
Desirable Skills:
- Experience in payroll reconciliation, MRI/Qube, and MS Teams.
