Couple your accounting studies with your analytical mind to deliver digitally-enabled audit services of the highest quality to clients from a diverse range of industry segments!

We won't give you a career path - we'll help you shape your own. It's your time to explore and advance in the areas you find inspirational. Expect purpose, progression, and making an impact that matters. Your story is just beginning, and your green dot is what you make of it.

About the team

Working alongside talented and like-minded professionals, you will be part of high performing teams delivering digitally-enabled audit services of the highest quality to clients from a diverse range of industry segments. Learning on the job through hands on coaching, feedback and development opportunities, you will get exposure to solving technical accounting matters, using data analytics to analyse business drivers & performance as well as team leadership and client relationship building skills. In turn, you will play a critical role as both a coach and mentor for future talent.

Who will you be working with?

In Audit & Assurance, we are specialists who empower our client's financial position to ensure the validity and legality of their financial records. We don't just understand our clients' business and industries, we also act in an advisory role to recommend possible risk aversion measures.

You will be working as part of multi-disciplined team on a variety of projects with some of our largest national clients. Our Canberra practice services clients across government, financial services, private enterprise and not-for-profit. As well as servicing clients locally, you will have the opportunity to gain exposure across the national practice and learn new skills whilst making an impact. Each new day provides you with a new challenge, developing your skills as you work across different service lines tackling complex accounting issues. As well as gaining fantastic experience working with some iconic clients, you'll get access to Deloitte's training and development opportunities as well as receiving support to undertake further study.

Enough about us, let's talk about you.

You're inquisitive, meticulous, humble and you often let your work speak for itself. You're also ideally:
  • Majoring in Accounting or studying a degree that makes you eligible for the Chartered Accountants Program
  • Finishing your studies in 2024 (or have recently graduated)
  • A strong communicator who possesses the skills needed to build relationships both your team and senior clients
  • Adaptable and driven - you understand what it's like to overcome obstacles through sheer tenacity and hard work
