Job Responsibilities:
- Assist Superior and Management to ensure Group Finance operations and functions run effectively and efficiently
- Prepare full set of accounts, including managing Accounts Receivables, Accounts Payable and accounts related reconciliations as well as handling taxation matters
- Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and forecasts
- Work closely with external auditors, Company Secretary and others to ensure regulatory filing and compliance matters are adhered to
- Collate information and conduct financial analysis to support decision-making
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance
- Drive or participate in finance process improvement initiatives
- Supervise and mentor junior finance staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
- Assist in any other ad-hoc projects or assignments as required
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance or accounting roles, with previous experience in a professional services firm being advantageous
- Proficiency in financial software and ERP systems, and well-versed with Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to interpret financial data and provide strategic insights
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to stakeholders
- Proven ability to lead and develop a team, fostering strong interpersonal relationships
- High level of integrity and professionalism, with strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Able to multi-task, with good time management skills, and self-motivated with the ability to work independently
