Role/ Department:

The candidate is expected to operate under general supervision as part of the Client Due Diligence “CDD” team.

The role requires serving Northern Trust clients and investors some of which are large and/or complex and the candidate will be responsible for the review of the on-boarding of new investors as well as reviewing existing CDD held on file following internal Anti-Money Laundering policies. The candidate will also be a part of the team responsible for the review and oversight of work completed in an outsourced location. They will be required to provide guidance and assistance to the partners in the outsourced team and be expected to be involved in department projects.

The key responsibilities of the role include:

  • Review stage of the customer reviews being undertaken by the processing team.
  • Following all checklists accurately, ensuring the identification and verification of all customers in -accordance with Guernsey regulations
  • Sharing knowledge and expertise, efficiently and professionally
  • Ensuring that all correspondence is accurate, reviewed then sent out in timely and professional manner

  • Compliance / Regulatory monitoring / CDD / AML knowledge

  • Able to work on own initiative
  • ICA Cert./Dip. in Compliance / AML desirable
