We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Group External Reporting Manager to join our finance team based in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in financial reporting for international groups, with a strong background in technical accounting under International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS). The Group External Reporting Manager will be responsible for overseeing the preparation and delivery of accurate and timely external financial reports, ensuring compliance with IFRS and other relevant regulations.

Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee the preparation and consolidation of the group’s financial statements in compliance with IFRS.
  • Ensure accurate and timely delivery of quarterly and annual financial reports.
  • Review and analyse financial statements and disclosures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and ownership of technical accounting matters across the Vista Global Group as they arise and preparation of supporting documentation.
  • Provide technical accounting guidance and support to the finance team and other departments.
  • Research and implement new IFRS standards and amendments.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of IFRS and other relevant regulations.
  • Develop and update accounting policies and procedures.
  • Act as a key point of contact for external auditors.
  • Help manage the audit process, including planning, coordination, and issue resolution.
  • Ensure timely and efficient completion of the annual audit.
  • Develop and maintain strong internal control processes for financial reporting.
  • Identify and address weaknesses in the financial reporting process.
  • Communicate financial results and issues to senior management and other stakeholders.
  • Prepare presentations and reports for the board of directors, investors, and other external parties.
  • Respond to queries from regulatory bodies, investors, and other stakeholders.
  • Provide training and development opportunities to enhance team capabilities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Required Skills, Qualifications, and Experience

  • Qualified accountant with 3+ years PQE with extensive experience in financial reporting and with technical accounting matters.
  • Strong leadership skills with an ability to lead multiple global teams to deliver against tight reporting deadlines.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to build processes to facilitate efficient and effective reviews.
