Trainee Accountant

Our client, a successful mid-sized Chartered Accountancy & Audit practice based in Dublin South, is currently seeking a Trainee Accountant to join the organisation. The successful candidate will work as part of a friendly, quality focussed team working to ensure their varied client base is serviced to the highest standard.

Key Responsibilities will include -

• Practice Accounting - attending meetings with accountants, clients as required
• Assisting in the preparation of client's accounts, tax returns and audit schedules
• Working closely with and reporting to senior experienced accountants
• Preparation and submission of VAT and PAYE returns

Candidate Profile -

• A recent 2nd class honours degree in any business, finance or mathematics related discipline
• Excellent communication skills
• Computer skills: Excel- strong level required
• Demonstrate a diligent and methodical approach to tasks
