Assistant Management Accountant

Page Personnel are partnering with s successful business who are looking for an Assistant Management Accountant to join their accountancy team on a fixed term contract for 12 months.

Our client is a successful business that has seen rapid growth in the past 12 months. They are based in Southampton and do require travel to their offices by offer a hybrid model of working.

Description

As the Assistant Management Accountant, you will be responsible for:

• Provide support for a full expense close on all month ends
• Provide Balance sheet reconciliations for areas as required and in a timely fashion
• Posting of journal entries required for expenses
• Assist with production of accounting and actuarial management information
• Assist in the generation, input and reconciliation of the financial results
• Assist with the intercompany reporting process

Profile

To be successful for the Assistant Management Accountant position, you must:

• Ability to engage and consult with senior colleagues
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail
• Able to work in a complex and changing environment
• Proactive approach to the resolution of problems and obstacles, escalating issues as required
• Ability to interrogate systems and understand the Expense Financial Data Model
• Advanced MS Excel skills
• Experience with Workday and PowerBI would be advantageous

Job Offer

Salary £30,000 - £36,000
