Reporting to the Associate Director, Revenue Cycle Management – Cardiology. The Revenue Cycle Manager, Denials & Collections, is responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction, operations, and performance of the Reimbursement Services team which includes all third-party and patient collections, denial resolution, accounts receivable resolution for all of Bardy Cardiology. This position also includes leading and overseeing the development, delivery, and evaluation of policies and procedures to ensure compliance with third-party billing regulations and efficiency and effectiveness for collections and denials.

Bardy Diagnostics, Inc. (“BardyDx”) is an innovator in digital health and remote patient monitoring, with a focus on providing the most diagnostically accurate and patient-friendly cardiac and vital signs patch monitors in the industry.
The right candidate for this role will lead and develop their team creating a positive and productive work environment committed to compliant and efficient collection and denial resolution. They will collaborate with leadership to help define and communicate the objectives for RCM collections and denials along with developing the strategies and plans to achieve them. Additionally, the right candidate will promote a culture of process improvement and adaptability while encouraging their team to generate and test new ideas, solutions, and approaches. They will support driving change and adapting to the needs and demands of current and future revenue generating operations.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Lead the RCM Collection & Denials team across all of Bardy Cardiology to align with the Revenue Cycle Management strategic vision.
- Own development and execution of Revenue Cycle Management initiatives.
- Lead a team of Supervisors and other direct reports including leading new hire recruitment and selection, employee performance management, coaching and development to ensure compliance with established business service level agreements, best practice procedures, and government/third-party billing requirements.
- Identify, develop, and monitor key performance indicators and dashboards to identify ongoing continuous improvement opportunities within collections and denials and escalate issues and recommendations to RCM leadership.
- Ensure that documentation required for authorization is received timely and within set goals to pursue reimbursement.
- Establish team performance standards to optimize team effectiveness and individual productivity. Including development of achievement goals and corrective measures as appropriate.
- Own escalated issues within the RCM collections and denials team and act as decision maker for high-level write-off adjustments to align with policy guidelines.
- Conduct needs analysis on actionable claims data to identify gaps and implement workflow enhancements.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with various departments within RCM and across Bardy leadership.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, conferences, and other activities.
- Perform special projects and other duties as assigned.
What You’ll Bring:
- Minimum of an AA degree with personal intent to complete BS/BA degree within 1 year required, BS/BA degree preferred.
- 5+ years’ experience in a Revenue Cycle Management role required, Cardiology device experience a plus
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations, guidelines, and standards, including a working knowledge of Compliance and HIPAA rules and regulations
- Knowledge of Third-Party Payer rules and regulations
- Knowledge of all revenue cycle functions from end to end, and Third-Party billing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Software
- Exceptional written, verbal, and interpersonal communication and presentation skills
- Proven change management and strong management skills
- Detail oriented with strong organizational skills
- Collaboration skills working with a cross-functional teams

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $96,000 to $132,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
