Job Description

In this role you will lead a dynamic and diverse team within J.P. Morgan SE CFO function.

As the Head of Capital Production within the Finance team at J.P. Morgan SE, you will play a pivotal role in defining our strategic direction. This dynamic position offers a unique chance to interact directly with senior executives, enabling you to shape the operating model. Your duties will encompass nurturing robust collaborations with a variety of global Lines of Business and establishing firm relationships with crucial partners such as Compliance, Risk and other regional teams.

Job Responsibilities

  • Be responsible for J.P. Morgan SE prudential regulatory reporting to European Central Bank (ECB), BaFin and Bundesbank covering inter alia Common Reporting Framework (Corep), Leverage Ratio, Large Exposure & Intragroup Waiver, FRTB, Pillar III, STE, Million Loans, Liquidity Reporting (ALMM, LCR, NSFR), MREL, Anacredit, Basel 3 monitoring, EdB and Bankintsatz
  • Be responsible for any reporting utilizing production data such as ICAAP, Stress Test, Benchmarking 
  • Be responsible for J.P. Morgan SE oversight of Capital reporting system development, currently focusing on coordination of BAU testing for Basel 3.1 implementation
  • Manage a team of 25 employees across 3 locations (Frankfurt, Luxembourg and Poland) with further support from 11 employees based in India
  • Chair of J.P. Morgan SE Capital Management Forum, co chair JPMSE FRTB forum interacting with Lines of Business and Risk 

Required qualification, capabilities and skills 

  • Prior extensive experience with Capital reporting
  • Solid leadership skills with strategic thinking
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, show empathy, strong motivation and positive attitude
  • Very strong organizational skills with the ability to apply a disciplined and organized approach throughout 
  • Strong and effective communication skills - both written and oral with the ability to communicate succinctly, providing opinion and challenge senior stakeholders, as appropriate 
  • Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business including regulatory and technological environment
  • Role model for others in the organization in terms of culture and conduct
