A career in our Financial Services Risk & Regulatory Team will provide you with the opportunity to provide a range of risk & regulatory services and business advice to a variety of clients from small, fast growing clients to large entities. Our clients are often well known brands and many have broad international reach.
Our team helps financial organisations navigate risk & regulatory complexity while strengthening trust and transparency in their business. Our clients cover industries within banking and capital markets, payment services and electronic money, insurance, and consumer finance. We work with our clients in areas such as risk management, new market entry, governance & internal control and prudential & conduct regulation. You’ll work alongside senior members of our team to help us build our growing practice.

As a Senior Manager, you'll work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution. PwC Professional skills and responsibilities for this management level include but are not limited to:

- Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
- Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients and stakeholders to build trust.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
Qualifications:
- Degree qualified or equivalent with relevant professional qualifications e.g Professional Diploma in Compliance, PRMIA.
- Minimum of 8 years in a similar consultancy environment or in a financial services company with a strong experience in risk or regulatory compliance;
- Experience of the regulatory framework and working in a compliance/risk department of an authorised firm.
Your Knowledge and Skills:
- Knowledge of the financial services industry. Cross financial sector experience is an advantage;
- Understanding of relevant key Risk & Regulatory issues;
- Demonstrate ability to develop proactive and constructive recommendations;
- Proficiency in operational processes and systems, with an appreciation of the concept of controls and risk management in a regulatory environment;
- Ability to understand/interpret new and existing regulatory requirements;
- Effective communication and report writing skills;
- Strong time management and organisational skills;
- Ability to work as part of a multidisciplinary team;
- Quick to take and understand a brief;
- Ability to deal with ambiguity and autonomy (think on one’s feet).
