Current Opportunity
Due to growth within our Projects & Infrastructure Advisory team we have an opportunity for a Senior Analyst/Assistant Manager. This role will see you work closely with a Partner in the delivery of financial and commercial advisory services to public and private clients.
Some of your key responsibilities include:
- Provide commercial and financial advisory services involving financial modelling and tailoring solutions to client needs to support strategic decisions.
- Working on government engagements including the development of business cases to support state and federal government clients
- Support the delivery of data analytic services to government and private clients.
- Support valuations (businesses/intangibles/derivatives) by building bespoke financial models.
- Reviewing complex financial models and potentially updating the models to address the findings.
- Assist with researching opportunities and preparation of proposals.
- Conduct feasibility studies that will include both the financial and commercial aspects.
- Assist with mentoring and supervising the work and development of junior team members.
What you’ll need to succeed
- A relevant Tertiary qualification
- CA/CPA or CFA qualification
- Demonstrated experience in a similar role within a mid-tier or large Chartered environment.
- Previous exposure to working within government and/or commercial advisory.
- Demonstrated experience in building financial models.
- Experience in developing business cases for state and federal governments.
- Highly developed data analytic and Excel skills.
- Strong communications skills with the ability to work within a team and autonomously.
- Well-developed report writing and presentation skills.
