Job Responsibilities
Audit Intern
- Assist in conducting assigned audit engagements successfully to clients.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with established control procedures by examining records, reports, operating practices and documentation.
- Assist in verifying assets and liabilities by comparing items to documentation.
- Assist in completing audit workpaper by documenting audit tests and findings.
- Assist in identifying and communicating audit findings and prepare final report.
- Assist in complying with federal, state and local security legal requirements.
- Assist in communicating with clients to help to ensure that information flow is efficient and accurate.
- Assist in preparing special audit and control reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing operating information and trends.
Accounting Intern
- Assist in preparing full set of accounts including General Ledger and necessary financial reports.
- Assist in overall financial planning and analysis, consolidation of accounts, budgeting and cash flow forecasting.
- Assist in the execution of accounting functions including journals, accounting entries and etc. for month end closing reporting.
- Assist in monthly and yearly financial reports processes.
- Assist in timely preparation of schedules for management, audit, tax, insurance and various other purposes.
Tax Intern
- Assist in preparing tax computations for timely submission to the tax authorities.
- Assist in monitoring corporate and individual tax related matters.
- Assist in monitoring and administering submission of Form CP 204, CP 204A and etc.
- Assist in liaising with clients and tax officers on tax related issues.
- Assist in managing tax issues covering tax planning, consulting, field’s desk tax audit and tax investigation and compliance matters.
- Assist in handling tax software to prepare/process tax returns.
- Assist in arranging tax payments to the Tax Authorities.
- Assisting tax seniors in managing job portfolio and related assignments.
- Any other job responsibilities as and when assigned by the Management.
Job Requirements
- Candidate must be currently studying a Diploma / Bachelor’s Degree in Accountancy / Commerce Accounting / Finance or equivalent academic background.
- Self-motivated, pro-active and strong communication skills.
- Good team player and possess a good working attitude.
