Role Overview
You will become part of a project team tasked with the integration of the Oracle Fusion ERP system into Next Finance, starting with the replacement of AP, AR, and GL.
Key Responsibilities
Your role will focus on the design, configuration, and construction of Finance reports that bolster the Profit and Loss statements across business divisions, leveraging the EPM capabilities of the Oracle Fusion software. As a vital member of our team, you will participate in design workshops, supporting the Business Solution Lead Manager and contributing to one of the program's primary deliverables, as well as broader financial reporting.
This entails:
- Participating in familiarization workshops
- Making and documenting design decisions in line with the project scope
- Completing design workbooks
- Assisting with business impact assessments
- Redesigning current 'streaming' processes
- Coordinating with the reporting team
- Collaborating with the core GL lead to align with the newly designed enterprise structure
- Contributing to the training plan
- Planning and executing tests
- Engaging with change management and business adoption to provide user training materials
- Planning and executing cutover
- Providing warranty support
You will also identify potential risks and ensure that controls are in place to mitigate them.
Additionally, you will collaborate with various business readiness teams:
- Current commercial finance teams
- Change management and adoption teams to guarantee comprehensive user training
- Data migration teams to ensure the accuracy of data transferred into the new system
- Reporting teams to reconcile the GL and other management information.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in implementing change with a focus on controls and automation.
- A robust understanding of reporting and the strategic use of data in an EPM environment is essential
- Experience with Oracle especially Fusion,.
- Self-management capabilities, a methodical approach, and strong organizational skills are necessary to handle multiple concurrent tasks.
- Exceptional attention to detail is required.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills are essential.
- The ability to meet tight deadlines and escalate issues appropriately and promptly is crucial.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills are important.
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and/or Google Presentations is needed.
- Previous experience with analytical toolkits, Power BI, and cloud-based data analytics is advantageous.
