Compliance Analyst

This is an excellent opportunity for an operations or compliance professional to work within a highly regarded boutique asset manager, in an extremely broad role. The company has a flat structure and therefore the role offers great exposure for the candidate across various areas.

The Role:

- Supporting the Compliance Manager with reviewing regulatory developments, assessing how these affect the company and thus keeping personnel and procedures up to date.
- Developing regulatory knowledge and contacts, approving financial promotions.
- Assisting with the implementation of the Compliance monitoring programme.
- Various ad-hoc projects, including MIFFID II.
- Maintaining breach, error and complaint logs.

Long term this position will develop into a middle office role, encompassing various tasks supporting fund managers and ongoing projects.

The ideal candidate will be a confident self-starter who enjoys working in a flat structure and is capable of communicating with colleagues at all levels. They should have experience of working within asset management from an operational or compliance background.

Some knowledge and experience of regulatory matters in the retail/private client asset management industry is essential. Experience of regulated funds would be useful, but not essential.
