Tax and Financial Reporting Accountant - year end

Your new role

As a Tax and Financial Reporting Senior Accountant you will bring your ability to provide accurate and timely reporting to the superannuation and tax areas of the business with the ability to support external client engagements with advice and queries.

The successful candidate for the Senior Accountant role will offer financial year end support in reviewing tax, financial and other regulatory reporting for the superannuation fund and managed investment trust clients.

As a Tax and Financial Reporting Senior Accountant some of your responsibilities will include:

• Preparation of business activity statements, distribution calculations and tax returns
• Preparation of financial statements, APRA and ABS regulatory reporting
• Reconciliation of accounting to taxable income
• Establish procedures and controls
• Contribute to process improvement

Your skills and experience as a Tax and Financial Reporting Senior Accountant:

• CA/CPA or other relevant qualification
• 2- 5 years tax and/or regulatory reporting for superannuation and investment trusts is preferred
• Otherwise open to large corporate experience in a finance or tax function
• Ability to work under pressure and meet varying deadlines and volumes of work
