This is an exciting opportunity for a French-speaking AR Specialist to join a thriving retail company in Blackburn. The successful candidate will be part of the Accounting & Finance department, offering their expertise in Accounts Receivable and dealing with French-speaking clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the end-to-end cash process and investigate any discrepancies.
  • Import daily cash processing reports into SAP.
  • Communicate and document discrepancy and forgery reports.
  • Post debtors' invoices and credit notes, and allocate cash receipts to customer accounts.
  • Perform monthly reconciliation of cash and card General Ledgers, including writing off within a certain threshold and investigating beyond it.
  • Post ad hoc journals when necessary.
  • Monitor, escalate, and resolve missing sales.
  • Upload fuel and shop sales, and investigate any variances.
  • Escalate issues promptly and appropriately.
  • Conduct monthly bank reconciliations.
  • Perform sales reconciliation.
  • Handle general administration and other ad-hoc duties as required
