TP Advisory Work
- Draft and review proposals and client acceptance forms.
- Conduct or review research performed by staff.
- Draft and review advisory documents.
- Liaise with the IRB on TP audit and investigation issues.
- Manage and ensure all internal and client-set deadlines are met.
- Discuss and resolve issues with the engagement team.
- Address review points raised by Executive Directors.
- Ensure all review points are resolved, document critical information, and file it appropriately.
- Ensure client deliverables are comprehensive and accurate.

Administrative Responsibilities

- Maintain and update the Client Tracker as required.
- Assign work and clients to team members as necessary.
- Oversee the preparation and review of invoices by staff and assist Directors with receivables collection.
- Mentor, coach, and evaluate staff performance.
- Conduct and oversee staff training sessions.
- Assist in organizing and facilitating seminars and workshops.
- Handle office administrative tasks as needed.
- Ensure adherence to standard procedures for TP purposes, including document filing and server management.

TP Assignments
- Draft and review proposals, complete client acceptance forms, and liaise with clients to define the scope of work and estimate fees.
- Prepare and review kick-off meeting presentations and interview questionnaires for Functions, Assets & Risk (FAR) Analysis.
- Participate in interviews, document verbal information provided by interviewees, with interviews conducted across various locations in Malaysia and occasionally in neighboring countries.
- Review comparable searches for TP assignments, including financial statement reviews and analysis of financial results.
- Draft and review TP Documentation Reports and Comparable Study Reports, conducting or reviewing necessary research.
- Manage and ensure all internal and client-set deadlines are met.
- Discuss and resolve issues with the Executive Director.
- Address review points raised by Executive Directors.
- Ensure all review points are resolved, document critical information, and file it appropriately.
- Ensure client deliverables are comprehensive and accurate.

Additional Tax Responsibilities
- Assist with corporate tax compliance and advisory tasks as necessary.

Training
- Attend all training sessions and ensure thorough preparation.
- Revise training materials and study relevant subjects to enhance knowledge.
- Conduct training sessions for staff as needed.

Staff Guidance and Supervision
- Provide clear job setup instructions, including scope discussion and necessary guidance.
- Discuss technical points with staff and share knowledge on relevant issues.
- Regularly monitor staff progress and work status to ensure efficiency and address any issues.

Personal Development and Marketing
- Conduct meetings with clients and relevant authorities independently when necessary.
- Identify new work opportunities from existing clients.
- Identify and arrange meetings with target clients.
- Contribute articles for journal publication.
- Speak at external seminars and workshops to raise personal profile.
- Assist in client workshops and training sessions.
- Stay updated on technical and business developments.

Qualifications/Education & Work Experience
- Minimum degree in Finance/Accounting or equivalent professional qualification (ACCA/CIMA/CPA/CIA).
- At least 5 years of relevant work experience.
- In-depth understanding and knowledge of:
- TP provisions in the Income Tax Act 1967
- Malaysian TP Guidelines
- TP rules
- OECD TP Guidelines
- Global TP Developments
- IRB clarifications on TP issues
