This role seeks a dedicated Management Accountant to join our Accounting & Finance team in the industrial/manufacturing sector. The successful candidate will provide key support in managing the financial health of our organisation.

Your Role:

As a key member of their finance team, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Prepare Monthly Management Accounts: Including variance analysis, balance sheet reconciliations, and performance reports for our expanding portfolio of subsidiary companies.
  • Own Bills of Materials and Routings: Ensure accurate product costings and margin reporting.
  • Conduct Supply Chain Reporting and Supplier Analysis: Track cost savings and optimise supplier relationships.
  • Perform Stock Analysis: Monitor obsolete, negative, and slow-moving stock to maximise efficiency.
  • Develop and Maintain KPI Data: Collaborate with the finance team to support business goals.
  • Manage Project Costing: Oversee financial aspects of projects for subsidiary companies.
  • Monitor New Product Development Projects: Ensure financial tracking of innovative initiatives.
  • Support R&D Tax Claims: Assist tax advisors in securing valuable R&D credits.
  • Contribute to Budgeting and Forecasting: Aid in the production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Drive Process Improvements: Enhance efficiencies within the finance function through innovative solutions.


A successful Management Accountant should have:

  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Active studier within CIMA, ACCA or ACA
  • A background within manufacturing
  • Proficiency in financial software and MS Office Suite.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Good communication and team collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
