Regional Financial controller role is senior and independent, and person should be proactive, firm, disciplined and well-structured/organized.

The Regional Financial Controller will report directly to the Regional CFO.

We are looking for 1 Group Financial Controller located in our Bogotá office, with fully remote working model and occasional visits in office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monthly reporting technical focus– following up with countries or regional FP&A lead, comparing to budget/PY and following up on potential errors.
  • Prepare monthly pre-closing calls with Region (in coordination with Group team and CFO to ensure all relevant topics are covered).
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reviews and create action plan with Regional CFO and countries to resolve/clean-up positions.
  • Accounting – good understanding and guiding countries where needed.
  • Lease accounting – connection with regional real estate lead, monitoring and ensuring that all contracts in the region are accounted for at central level. 
  • Monthly check on lease payments.
  • Statutory Financial Statements and tax compliance.
  • Local capex contracts – providing guidance to countries.
  • Intercompany differences - follow up and guiding countries to resolve them
  • Internal control framework –own the compliance status progress and report to Regional CFOs.
  • Monthly reporting to Regional CFOs on main issues

Key Skills:

  • Experience financial controlling role (minimum 3 years) or similar positions
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office Package.
  • Fluent English and Spanish
  • Critical mind-set and attention to detaills
  • Ability to work in a multicultural environment
  • Team-player with quality orientation and can-do attitude
