This is a great opportunity to join a commercial and growing business. You will report directly to the Credit Manager and take ownership of your own ledger. There is an opportunity for you to progress and assist the Credit Manager with developing the credit control procedures and reporting.

•Management of a ledger worth £2 million + monthly

•Hands on management an ownership of the ledger from start to finish

•Chasing debts by telephone, email and portals

•Liaising with sales to ensure queries are resolved quickly

•Allocation of cash/reconciling accounts/resolving unallocated

•Monthly statement run/sending copy invoices/raising credit notes

•Making significant improvements on the 90 day+ debt

•Assisting with month end closure of the ledger

•Attending customer meetings as needed

Requirements

•Credit Control experience is essential

•Experience of working in a busy fast paced environment

•Knowledge of dealing with large customers and portal would be a benefit

•Excel - v loop up experience essential

•Positive attitude and results orientated

•Organised and proactive approach to work
