The senior audit associate is responsible for overseeing the auditing processes in the firm.

The candidate should be knowledgeable in the diverse areas of auditing and accounting.

Audit Associate Responsibilities:

  • Assisting and supporting the accounting and auditing team in their daily functions.
  • Verifying company financial information.
  • Planning, directing and performing company financial audits.
  • Creating and managing internal auditing systems and procedures.
  • Preparing audit reports and statements for company managers.
  • Resolving client audit queries efficiently.
  • Ensuring compliance of company best practices.
  • Training and mentoring Audit and Accounting Interns and Assistants.

Audit Associate Requirements:

  • Professionally qualified with ACCA or equivalent
  • Experience working as an Audit Associate.
  • Advanced knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards and International Auditing Standards.
  • Willingness to perform leadership, supervisory and coaching role
  • Familiarity with state financial laws.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Excellent project and time management skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information.
  • Working knowledge of accounting and office software inclusive of Microsoft Office Suite and an electronic audit system.
