Book close (monthly & quarterly) role utilizing Oracles Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) system
Opportunity to grow and participate in ad-hoc Accounting & Finance operational improvement projects that cross all corporate functions
Assist in monthly and quarterly global financial consolidation using HFM
Perform daily financial statement checks during the monthly and quarterly close using HFM SmartView
Investigate & report variances that arise as part of daily validations using HFM tools (SmartView)
Prepare and record HFM journal entries for the monthly and quarterly close
Prepare financial reporting package (regional Balance Sheet and P&L) for Corporate Controller and CFO
Prepare and issue regional monthly and quarterly P&L and Balance Sheet flux analyses to the Regional Controllers
Prepare and issue quarterly accrual reports to the regions for review with Corporate Controller
Conduct financial analysis during monthly and quarterly close process
Monitor adherence to company's corporate accounting policies, procedures and reporting requirements issued as part of the close process
Prepare post-close audit reports for SOX compliance
Interact with Regional Controllers, staff accountants and other finance functions including FP&A, Shared Services, Tax, Treasury and Internal Audit
Initiate and drive initiatives to improve controls and efficiency
