We are now advertising for an Officer to work in our Trailer Fee department. 

The Trailer Fee team is responsible for the processing of our client’s commissions and trailer fee calculations and payments. This involves reviewing broker contract terms, maintaining broker fee structures and calculations settings on the fee calculation system, analysing queries to identify and resolve issues with complex fee calculations.  

Key Responsibilities & Accountabilities: 

  • Responsible for the oversight and management for our trailer fee team SLAs.
  • Responsible for quality checking trailer fee contract setups and inputs.
  • Responsible for the validation of trailer fee calculation outputs.
  • Responsible for the timely response to client & broker queries received into the team mailbox.
  • Responsible for delivering high quality client service via written email responses and daily client calls.
  • Responsible for being an escalation point for our clients in relation to any issues or challenges arising from BAU or otherwise.
  • Responsible for managing expectations of clients and stakeholders and ensuring transparency in all communications during BAU and issue management.
  • Responsible for ensuring all trailer fee procedures and operational controls are adhered to and implemented by the operational team.
  • Responsible for the training and development of staff, monitoring employee performance and completing performance reviews in a timely fashion for your direct reports.
  • Accountable for the adherence to company values of Professional, Accountable, Client Focused, Excellence and Leadership in all tasks and interactions.
  • Accountable for cultivating an environment of clear, open and direct communication.
  • Accountable for providing operational guidance and assistance to staff where required.
  • Accountable for overseeing the continuous improvement of the team and ensuring we are following best practice and controls


  • Typically candidate will have approximately 5 years’ experience in a similar environment, including at least 1-2 years’ experience in a management/supervisory capacity.
  • Knowledge of Transfer Agency desirable.
  • Knowledge of Trailer Fees/Rebates highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical mindset required with evidence of problem solving experience.
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Enthusiastic individual with a desire to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and planning skills with the ability to multi-task and to work calmly under pressure.
  • High proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels with our global organisation.
  • Positive individual who performs in a manner that makes a strong impression on others; e.g., high energy level, a problem-solving approach, approachable; and the ability to act with a sense of urgency when required.
