We are looking for a "Tax Team Leader" for our business partner.

Client Details

Our business partner is one of the well-known company in energy sector.


Tax Team Leader will be responsible for;

  • Lead the tax team, setting clear goals and providing guidance to ensure high performance and professional development;
  • Manage the timely and accurate preparation and filing of all tax returns;
  • Managing the process related to VAT refund;
  • Staying abreast of changes in tax laws and regulations, interpreting their impact on the organization and communicating relevant updates to the team and stakeholders;
  • Carrying out tax control/transactions and preparing solution strategies;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams such as finance, legal and operations to gather necessary information and ensure tax-related activities are aligned with overall business objectives;
  • Conduct research on complex tax issues, analyze the tax implications of business decisions and provide guidance and recommendations to the team and relevant department;
  • Analyze tax audits, investigations and requests from tax authorities and other organizations and work to ensure the most appropriate response;
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement within the tax team, streamline workflows and implement automation tools to increase efficiency and accuracy;
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members, conduct performance reviews and ensure a positive and collaborative working environment.


  • University degree preferably in faculty of economics administrative and social sciences;
  • 5- 7 years of accounting&tax&control&reporting experience with at least two years of team management experience, having Big 4 experience is a plus;
  • SMMM qualification is required;
  • SAP knowledge is an asset;
  • Fluent in English (both oral and written);
  • Excellent analytical and logical thinking skills and detail oriented;
  • Computer knowledge including Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and other commonly used software;
  • Good organisational skills with ability to work under time pressure,Excellent communication skills with both internal and external clients Leadership skills including the distribution of work, development of employees, and performance management of a team of employees.
