Current Opportunity – Senior Management Accountant

We are seeking a dynamic and commercially savvy Senior Management Accountant to join our growing finance team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in management accounting, financial analysis, business partnering, and reporting. This role offers the opportunity to work in a large organisation, driving financial performance, building relationships across the business, and enhancing our reporting capabilities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare and analyse management accounts, providing insights and recommendations to improve financial performance across cross centres.
  • Partner with key stakeholders across the organisation to understand business requirements and provide financial support and guidance.
  • Contribute to the budgeting process, including preparation, monitoring, and variance analysis.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support decision-making.
  • Conduct data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for process improvements, supporting informed decision-making.
  • Develop and maintain reporting frameworks to provide timely and accurate financial information to stakeholders.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial reporting and analysis.

What you’ll need to succeed:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
  • CA or CPA equivalent qualification.
  • Minimum of four years of experience in management accounting, financial analysis or external audit experience
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills with strong experience in Power Query.
  • Experience with Power BI is desirable, with a willingness to learn and grow your skillset.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Eagerness to stay adaptable and embrace new methodologies and technologies as we expand our reporting and analytics capabilities.
