Who we are looking for

A senior operations specialist who will provide technical support to EMEA Central Expense Team. You will be responsible for expense standardization and centralization, in accordance with agreed quality standard, communication with all impacted parties – Oversight, Fund Group, Expense Reporting.

What you will be responsible for

As a Senior Expense Operations Specialist you will:

  • Prepare Standard Expense Check Macro, Expense Manager Setup.
  • Escalate all delays and issues regarding assigned deliverables timely to Officer and/or AVP.
  • Provide on-the-job training and coaching to all staff and provide performance feedback to manager for input into PPR.
  • Implement all standard practices, processes, tools, and technology enhancements.
  • Comply with internal, client specific and Standard Operating Procedures while meeting specified deadlines for all tasks.
  • Receive and resolve inquiries in a timely and accurate manner and communicate effectively within SSB teams.
  • Assist in Client, Audit and NAV production expense-related queries.
  • Identify issues and problems in service delivery and carry out necessary corrective action.
  • Perform and monitor quality and internal controls for all team deliverables.
  • Participate in the development, testing and implementation of new systems and product.
  • Continue processes improvement, consistently increasing efficiency of daily business.
  • Become owner of the processes.
  • Review documentation on processes, procedures and controls and evaluate the continuing effectiveness of these and related systems.
  • Complete other special projects and tasks as assigned.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • BS/BA in Business, Accounting, Finance or equivalent experience preferred.
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in Fund Accounting is a must have.
  • Good understanding of financial services and investment products is required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong PC skills, ability to work with MS Office, specifically with Excel (Intermediate level).
  • MCH knowledge required.
  • Analytical skills.
