As a Business Manager Vice President within the Investment & Corporate Banking team, you will offer business management assistance to the Europe, Middle East, and Africa Financial Institutions Group and Technology Investment Banking and Global Corporate Banking teams. Your role will involve promoting key strategic initiatives for the franchise and supporting the implementation of revenue strategies. Being a part of a dynamic and diverse business and team, you will have an excellent opportunity to expand your network as well as enhance your product knowledge across Corporate & Investment Banking.

Job responsibilities

  • Be a trusted advisor to the business, involving yourself in a diverse set of issues that will have a direct impact on the organization
  • Develops financial plans and oversight of performance metrics for the business, including revenues, pipeline, expenses, and headcount
  • Prepares business performance presentations/reviews
  • Manages financial / pipeline data and reviews underlying information on a periodic basis, in collaboration with product partners
  • Assists in key business/strategic, regulatory, and governance priorities for the franchise
  • Supports development of business strategy, client prioritization and revenue planning, co-ordination, and delivery of key sales initiatives and projects
  • Analyses, monitors and has an understanding of JPMorgan’s competitive position as per Dealogic and Coalition including both wallet and volume

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Highly motivated, energetic self-starter who takes ownership of issues
  • Good organizational skills - manages & prioritizes multiple tasks across different time zones within deadlines; flexibility; ability to prioritize requests and multi-task
  • Proven track record in developing strong partnerships within a business along with excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong team player and confident leader with excellent partnering and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical and numeric skills, excellent attention to detail
  • Investigative mind-set, able to see issues at both the detailed level and the implications at a high-level

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Good understanding of Investment and Corporate Banking products (M&A, ECM, DCM, Payments, Markets)
  • Business Management experience
