We are implementing a ground-breaking program which will streamline processes, enhance systems, improve forecasting accuracy, strengthen business partnerships and enhance opportunities for personal skill-building and professional growth.

EMEA FP&A ISC/Manufacturing team is an extension of the Plant/Site finance teams. This is an FP&A role for the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), where the person in this position interacts with the Plant Finance and Regional Finance teams, and more broadly with the ISC Finance teams.

Being part of the FP&A team you will be supporting corporate planning, annual budgeting, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews. In addition, this position will support high-value-added business analytics and drive the development of senior management presentations for this multifaceted and growing region.

What will you be doing?

  • Initiating transition & knowledge transfer of FP&A activities, establishing operating and checklists to streamline and centralize processes by driving continuous improvements and enhancing efficiencies.
  • Coordinating closely with plant finance teams to review projections, budgets and historical results, loading budget and forecast adjustments into the system.
  • Ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness of the monthly reports, forecasts, and the annual budget / strategic plan preparation.
  • Supporting the delivery of comprehensive monthly reporting packages for management, including monthly reviews of budget vs. actual results and variances with P&L/cost centre owner, etc.
  • Partnering with FP&A Regional, Local, and Corporate resources within manufacturing/supply chain organizations to understand, drive and support decision making ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Performing strategic ad hoc reporting and financial analysis to assess business performance and facilitate decision-making and business support.
  • Liaising with the FP&A Global Delivery Center (GDC) and other cross-functional leads to support the creation of budgets, forecasts and management reports, while ensuring compliance with all quality/control requirements.

Who are we looking for?

  • Analyst with a demonstration of key finance competencies and qualifications and typically 5+ years of relevant experience with financial planning and reporting within ISC/Manufacturing Finance.
  • Expert in technical and financial knowledge, including internal control requirements and accounting principles as well as an understanding of the relevant business environment.
  • Finance professional with excellent analytical skills familiar with accounting, analysis and reporting specialising in financial modelling and experience in statistical modelling techniques is a plus.
  • Gained experience with VBA, JD Edwards (JDE), Hyperion Planning, and Cognos would be assets.
  • Self-starter with excellent communication and analytical skills and decision-making capabilities.
