Job Overview:

Makesworth Accountants Pvt Ltd is looking to recruit two Accounts Senior in our office in New Baneshwar, Kathmandu, Nepal. We are looking for a bright and enthusiastic individual to join our team. We have high professional standards and are looking for candidates with excellent academic/professional backgrounds who have a minimum of three years of experience with a UK-based Accounting Practice or Outsourcing firm.

As an Accounts and Tax Senior, you will be expected to report to Partners where the job role will comprise of liaising with the Senior Account Managers & the rest of the team. The position will also involve delivering first-class service in the preparation of clients' Statutory Accounts & Taxes with personal and corporation returns. You will need to supervise the Account Managers & team in liaison with the Partner and review their work accordingly.

Job Description:

  • Supervising the team in the maintenance of the client’s portfolio and database
  • Assisting Senior Accounts Managers with their portfolio of clients
  • Assisting Partners and Management in system development and its implementation
  • Handling a portfolio of a variety of clients allocated
  • Providing excellent services in all levels of compliance works and Taxation
  • Preparation of personal and corporation returns for the clients
  • Liaising with the clients, teams, and HMRC alike
  • Responding to client queries and ensuring full confidentiality, transparency, and exceeding expectations whenever possible for the clients
  • Maintaining and developing strong client relationships

Skills and Attributes:

  • Qualified ACCA or equivalent with min three experience in a practice environment
  • Strong academic background with knowledge of Statutory Accounts & Tax Preparation
  • Experience in accountancy software such as QuickBooks, Xero, Free Agent, Sage, VT Transaction & MS Office and Taxcalc
  • Have great attention to detail with commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Analytical problem-solving skills
  • Comfortable working to deadlines
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude
