Position Overview: As an Accounts Officer, you will play a pivotal role in managing various accounting responsibilities to ensure our company's financial stability. The ideal candidate should hold qualifications such as ACCA Fundamental or CA Inter and demonstrate proficiency in accounting software like Quickbooks, Xero, and strong MS Office capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage diverse accounting duties, including preparing financial statements, processing payroll, and generating Sales tax reports for our global clients.
  • Utilize accounting software such as Oracle, NetSuite, or QuickBooks for accurate data input and financial reporting.
  • Maintain updated financial records and documentation.
  • Analyze financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
  • Provide effective training to junior team members.
  • Communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • CA Inter (with articleship from a reputable firm) / ACCA with 2-3 years of experience in a respected accounting/auditing firm.
  • Proficiency in accounting software, particularly NetSuite, QuickBooks, or Xero.
  • Strong MS Office skills, especially MS Excel.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong leadership qualities and communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of financial statements and payroll taxes.
